Our client, a leading German financial institution, undertook a comprehensive modernization of its purchasing and procurement processes. The challenge was to replace the existing SAP-based catalog system, SoProcure, with a unified e-procurement solution while ensuring seamless integration into the client’s financial information system.

In close collaboration with the procurement departments and accounts payable, the existing processes were thoroughly analyzed to identify optimization opportunities and develop a robust cost-benefit analysis. Building on these insights, we supported process modeling and meticulously prepared the implementation, with a particular focus on structures, organization, and workflows.

Despite an expanded project scope involving custom catalog integrations, supplier consolidation, and purchasing cost optimization, the implementation was successfully completed within a demanding timeline. The close alignment with all stakeholders and the dedicated efforts of the entire project team were instrumental in achieving a smooth transformation.
