As a family-owned medium-sized company, Witty is a leading provider of hygiene solutions through the integrated combination of chemistry, technology, service, and customer care. To continue providing the optimal framework for the ambitious growth plans at its location in Dinkelscherben, a decision was made to strategically develop the site further.
The starting point for the strategic site development is a comprehensive analysis of the current processes to derive potential optimization opportunities. The target processes, designed with these insights in mind, then form the basis for investment decisions in modern technologies, automation systems, and structural measures.
The future-oriented mindset of the entire Witty team enables the implementation of fundamental changes to the production system. In addition to segmenting production into high- and low-runner lines with corresponding adjustments to the warehouse structure, we are selectively integrating automation technology into specific functional areas. To ensure a seamless integration of functional and structural perspectives, we involve the architectural planning closely in all aspects of the new construction and the reorganization of the existing structures throughout the entire project.
Due to the product- and process-specific requirements of the production, the project is also characterized by high complexity in the approval processes, as, in addition to the standard building permit, an environmental impact approval under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) is required to implement the strategic development measures.
The future-oriented site development is complemented by a sustainable building concept in accordance with KfW 40 for the new construction, which will house the chemical production and the science division in the future.
