Feasibility Studies for Photovoltaic Systems

Garbe Green GmbH is a successful company specializing in the development, allocation, and mediation of projects in the field of renewable energy. Its key areas include photovoltaic systems, energy storage, and the feeding and transmission of electrical energy.

A leased hall in western Germany with a roof area of 25,000 m² was assessed for the installation of a rooftop photovoltaic system. As part of a feasibility study, technical, economic, and structural aspects were evaluated.

The services included clarifying requirements, the initial design of the PV system, and the creation of a profitability report. To determine potential yields, simulations were conducted considering factors such as solar radiation and weather data from the past 20 years. Additionally, the lifespan of the roof membrane and the structural suitability of the roof were evaluated. Finally, the grid compatibility and electrical feasibility were assessed.
