Working Student – Business Development, Logistics & Sales (w/m/d) - Part time

Working with clients like apetito, Böllhoff, Continental, Teufel, and Zalando, Metroplan is active across all industries and offers a diverse work environment.

What you can expect:
1. Sales (Focus: Operations & Pre-qualification)
You support all stages of the acquisition process:
- Coordination of incoming inquiries within the Metroplan Group.
- Preparation of initial contact phases:
- Research on target companies, decision-makers, and background information.
- Specification of client requirements and needs assessment.
- Appointment scheduling and coordination.
- Support in the coordination and processing of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Support for and pre-/post-processing of acquisition meetings.
- Assistance in drafting proposals and sales contracts.
- Development and maintenance of a structured sales database (e.g., tracking win/loss ratios, order intake, reasons for conversion/rejection, feedback, and optimization approaches).
2. Strategic Business Development
You assist in expanding the Metroplan ecosystem, consisting of industrial clients, partners, and multipliers:
- Research and identification of relevant points of contact.
- Development of conceptual approaches for strategic growth (e.g., partnership models, multiplier networks, and BD initiatives).
- Market and competitive intelligence:
- Analysis of trends, tenders, and industry signals.
- Strategic assessment to support corporate development decisions.
3. Metroplan-Group – Interfaces & Cross-functional Tasks
You work closely with the Marketing and HR departments on topics such as:
- Support for campaigns and targeted content creation (e.g., for social media or university marketing).
- Assistance in recruiting, including talent pool research and interview scheduling.
- Collaboration on cross-departmental initiatives for corporate development.
What we´re looking for:
- Currently enrolled student (preferably at Master’s level) in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for research and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with external stakeholders.
- A keen interest in Logistics, Industrial sectors, Management Consulting, or Business Development.
