Our client is a family-owned technology company that is divided into more than ten different product segments.
This project involved a new steel construction component plant to supply the company's own production network in the earthmoving machinery sector.
Services
Development of a factory concept with focus on the material flow (incl. 3D visualization of the preferred variant).
- Adoption of the strategic goals (quantitative and qualitative) and joint derivation of the requirements from the perspective of factory planning
- Design of the strategic production program through the formation of suitable representatives with subsequent article allocation
- Design of desired processes based on the analyzed as-is processes as well as technological make-or-buy decisions (incl. preparation of technology profiles)
- Carrying out a utilization and capacity calculation (production program, work plans, and parts lists)
- Dimensioning of the defined functional areas (area requirement program)
- Material flow-oriented arrangement of the dimensioned functional areas based on the designed target processes
- Selection of the preferred variant (incl. creation of a 3D visualization)
