Our client is a family-owned technology company that is divided into more than ten different product segments. ​

This project involved a new steel construction component plant to supply the company's own production network in the earthmoving machinery sector.

Services

Development of a factory concept with focus on the material flow (incl. 3D visualization of the preferred variant).

  • Adoption of the strategic goals (quantitative and qualitative) and joint derivation of the requirements from the perspective of factory planning​
  • Design of the strategic production program through the formation of suitable representatives with subsequent article allocation​
  • Design of desired processes based on the analyzed as-is processes as well as technological make-or-buy decisions (incl. preparation of technology profiles)​
  • Carrying out a utilization and capacity calculation (production program, work plans, and parts lists)​
  • Dimensioning of the defined functional areas (area requirement program)  ​
  • Material flow-oriented arrangement of the dimensioned functional areas based on the designed target processes​
  • Selection of the preferred variant (incl. creation of a 3D visualization)​
