Nomination for the „Opole Investment of the Year” Award

Representatives of Metroplan Polska were guests on the 15.12.2017 at the Christmas gala and economic summary of the year in Opole organized by the Opole Centre for Economic Development (OCRG).

A new Hengst Filtration production plant in Gogolin, built in co-operation with Metroplan Eastern Europe, which starts production of components for leading automotive manufacturers in 2018, was nominated for the "Opole Investment of the Year" award. The new Hengst Filtration Poland factory is the largest and most expensive of the nominated investments (total area of 13 482.7 m², total investment cost ca 16 million Euro according to press releases).

The scope of work of Metroplan Polska included the selection of the location along with negotiations of investment support with the Katowice Special Economic Zone and local government authorities, conducting of all formal procedures preceding the start of the development, project documentation of the building co-ordinated with the plant technology, organization of a tender for general contracting and management during the construction period.

The plant in Gogolin will be the most modern in the entire Hengst Filtration Group.
