Cornerstone Laid for a New Morat Swoboda Motion E-motive Plant

On August 16, 2018, the Cornerstone was laid for the new investment of Franz Morat Group in Nowa Ruda in the presence of representatives of the investor and local authorities, the Metroplan project team, the general contractor and other distinguished guests. Franz Morat Group and Swoboda Hartmann Group established a joint venture Morat Swoboda Motion Sp. z o.o. for e-motive projects in early March 2018. The Morat Swoboda Motion plant, which will be built in Nowa Ruda in the immediate vicinity of the Framo Morat plant and will initially create around 40 new jobs, will produce drive components for electrically powered vehicles (e-scooters, e-bikes and pedelecs). Approximately EUR 3.5 million will be initially invested in the enterprise; the completion of the first phase of the new plant (4,500 m²) is planned for February 2019.
